A little about me
I am struck by the way light and shadow define an object, and how it plays with the colors. The light rearranges the form, colors, textures, lines, and feelings of everyday objects.
I am motivated to show how beauty can be found in ordinary objects. I use graphite, colored pencils, watercolors, soft pastels, oil pastels, pen and ink, Adobe Photoshop, and photography to capture my perception of light, color, and form.
Art is my identity. I continue to develop an understanding of who I am and what I want to say because of my visual perception and ability to create a way to communicate artistically to others.
I am currently a Graphic Design Bachelor of Fine Arts Major candidate at the State University of New Paltz to focus on the design aspects of my artwork.
